Curb Your Urge Duing the Holidays

If you can't curb your urge to slurge during the holidays think about each item you are spending money on and ask yourself these questions:

• Is this purchase REALLY necessary?
• How long will this last?
• How long will the joy of this gift last?
• Is there a less expensive option?
• If I charge this how long will it take to pay it off?
• Would I come back tomorrow and buy it?

If you don't have good answers for these questions it might be a good opportunity to save money by leaving the item at the store.
